The St. Lucia U16 team was the live wire of the 2008 CNA Jean Pierre Tournament. From the candle lighting ceremony to the closing ceremony, the St. Lucians exhibited an out going spirit that was easy to fall in love with.
The exuberant team was third in the Most Improved Team Category and placed 5th overall in the competition.
Thirteen year old centre, Amber Ambrose was adjudged the Most Valuable Player on the team. She placed 4th overall in the shooting ranking with an accuracy rate of 78.48%.
Jo Ann Anderson won the special Young Achiever's Trophy for excellence in academic, extra - curricular and sporting activities which was donated by Ms. Kathy Harper-Hall, President of the CNA.
