Jamaica U13 Gets Some Action

Jamaica's U13 netballers will get a piece of the action May 18 to 20 at the Leila Robinson Courts of the National Stadium, Jamaica in a three match series against a Cayman Island All Stars team.

With its under 16 squad just completing a whitewash of the Caribbean, the U13 will sure to be keen to maintain Jamaica's championship legacy.

The coach of the squad of 33 youngsters Barbara Sinclair is reported by the Observer as saying that it is not so much about winning but a chance for them to see where the nursery squad was a year after they had begun training.

Anyone who has seen a Jamaican team play or has been fortunate enough like me to play for a Jamaican side knows that this sounds good but Jamaicans play to win.

The Caymanians, who arrive on May 17 and leave on May 21 and will also play two matches against St Hugh's and The Queen's Under-13 squads.
