IFNA is hosting a coaching Clinic in Barbados this weekend so says the Jamaica Observer. I have not seen anything in the Barbados press, maybe I overlooked it. Apparently they also hosted a similar one in Argentina which Mona Alleyne of Barbados facilitated.
I am not in possession of the facilitators for this clinic (gosh I just heard about it) but I must say that the region needs more than just one clinic and it must be facilitated by persons with proven track records of excellence, achievement and experience on the international arena. Poor Barbados, St. Vincent, St. Lucia etc are struggling, it is obvious that we do not have the resources on the islands to propel us up the international netball ladder.
It is with great expectation that I await IFNA's master plan to address this, because I am sure it does not end with one token clinic.
