" Netball South Africa has roped in one of the world's leading authorities on the game to turn around the fortunes of the national team. A former coach of the New Zealand team, Lyn Gunson, is attending the National Netball Championships in Tshwane this week.
Netball is one of the biggest participant sports in South Africa. Yet the Proteas are struggling at number six on the world rankings. They lost to Malawi at the world championships last year.
Gunson says South Africa has a lot of talent and will be able to yet again become one of the top three netball playing nations. Gunson conducted a workshop for provincial coaches before the start of the championships and will also spend some time with the coach of the national team, Karin Strauss."
Barbados and a number of other islands could do with this kind of help!!!
